LFSM is a division of the Living Faith Churches and is based in the Okanagan Valley, B.C., Canada. For purposes of accreditation, LFSM maintains an association with International Bible Training Center (IBTC), which upholds agreement regarding articulation with Destiny Christian University of Winter Haven, Florida.

Accreditation Defined

To accredit an educational institution is to certify that it upholds appropriate standards and fulfills its own stated objectives in the education offered to students. The agencies most qualified to review a Christian education institution, its courses and methods of operation, are its peers; other apostolic, anointed educators.

Government Accreditation

Living Faith School of Ministry is not a peer of, and therefore not officially recognized by the British Columbia Department of Education. Our focus areas of training; for example, Ministerial Leadership, Christian Counseling, Apostolic and Prophetic Ministry, Kingdom Business, Bible Knowledge, Theological Studies, Intercession, Miracle Healing and more, do not fall under the canopy of government recognized accreditation. Rather, what is needful is the recognition and certification of Spirit-filled Christian educators.

Graduates can function with excellence in all the above mentioned vocations and become valuable, productive, contributing members of society without government recognition.

If the goal of a student is to seek employment as a psychologist, secular counselor, public school teacher, or similar positions requiring government licensing, they should pursue a government recognized degree. Normally, individuals employed in Christian ministry to not require such accreditation.
We believe that we have set the standard bar at LFSM higher than those of the government in that our graduates must necessarily:

• Be people of character
• Be able to identify the instructions of the Lord and perceive His vision
• Be loyal and have an understanding of the ways of the Kingdom of God
• Be able to nurture, mentor and impart the things of the Spirit to protégés
• Be able to manifest the nature of God in the midst of a crisis
• Be able to guard and protect the anointing so they can be effective ministers, leaders and deliverers
• Be passionate about their purpose, calling, destiny and assignment from God
