And He will be the stability of your times, A wealth of salvation, wisdom and knowledge; The fear of the LORD is his treasure. Ish 33:6 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which entereth into that within the veil. Heb 6:19
When Christ is your stability We can go through life with certainty knowing that your dreams and vision will be backed up by Him. Just as nothing can stop Jesus, nothing can stop you! Our verse in Hebrews says that Christ Jesus is both Sure and Steadfast. I don’t quite know of anyone or a system in this world that can be described as Sure and Steadfast.
I have seen many people stake their lives on things that were not reliable. Great leaders and great nations have fallen because the foundation was NOT secure. We are living in uncertain times and many hearts have become disappointed because what they thought was sure and steadfast in fact was not. My friend, be encouraged this today, to dream, hope.
Be intentional with your faith, act boldly on the Word because we have a King and a Kingdom that cannot be moved. His blood is still powerful. Sin cannot pollute it, and time cannot diluted it. He is as strong today as he was when He walked the shores of Galilee. So as you read these words today let them become apart of your thinking and your action!
That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil.- Heb 6 :19
A few years ago the Lord move me to teach a message on “The Power of Consciousness”, that your consciousness determines your reality. Whatever you are aware of in your mind and heart will be molded into your life.
The Lord showed me that when Christ’s identity becomes our identity and His consciousness, becomes your consciousness, everything in your life will begin to change. We will be as bold as He was and heaven will respond to us like it responded to Him. Wow! I love that! He told me that when you are Christ’s conscious, Jesus the man, will become the “Anchor” for your dreams, visions and most importantly for your soul.
He not only died for your sins, but he has become the Grantor of all your dreams. He will back up every aspect of your dreams as long as your dreams are His dreams. This was very exciting news for me because I understand the purpose of an anchor. Webster defines “an anchor as a heavy device that is attached to a boat or ship that keeps the vessel in place, it also means a person or thing that provides strength, stability and support to someone.
Now I remember as a child growing up in the Caribbean, during the hurricane season, I would see ships being destroyed because the anchor and ship were not strong enough to withstand the fierce wind When Jesus is our “Anchor” of our life, we can be certain and confident that as we put our trust in Him and His Word, every aspect of our life will be beautified by his presence.
